The hurlers of Craobh Rua Camloch defeated Middletown in last weeks Championship semi final by a 1-11 to 1-5 scoreline and now will attempt to make history by winning the Armagh Junior Championship when they face a highly fancied Derrynoose team in the final.
This will be a tough task for the Camloch club in this their fourth final appearance but none the less there is a great belief amongst this group of hurlers that they can win the Championship for the first time in their history. There is a balance of experience and youth within the team who can boast three members of the Armagh Rackard winning panel, Michael Garvey, Fiachra Bradley and Ryan Lewis. The team also boasts talented young minors and Sean Casey, and Ryan Lundy lined out for the Armagh minor side this year. The match is set for this Sunday at the Athletic Grounds and will be curtain raiser to the Senior Hurling Championship final
The management and panel of players are
Mark Fleming , Joe McEldowney , Michael Lewis, Colm Creaney, Conor Devlin, Michael Garvey, Miceal Bradley ,Patrick O Connor Eoghan Robb, , Micheal Doran, Aidan Nutley, Fionnán Burns, Paul Cunningham , Fiachra Bradley Captain, Ryan Lewis Ryan Lundy, , Damien Britton, Daniel Burns, Louis Doyle, Jay O Hare, Sean Casey, Christopher Flynn, Eamon McAteer, Liam Donegan, T J Harris, Aodhan Mc Guinness
