An incredible crowd of 76,321 were in Croke Park 31 August 2003 to watch Armagh take on Donegal in the All Ireland Football Semi Final that year. With 21 wides on the day it took two goals to make the difference, one from 'Stevie from Killeavy' and a penalty kick in injury time from Oisin McConville.

After 70 minutes the sides were level but a point from Philip Loughran and that penalty conversion saw Armagh heading to their second final spot in 2 years.

Final score was Armagh 2-10 to Donegal 1-9.
