Last weekend (Saturday 20th July), Ronan Myles attended the Brandon Bay Half Marathon. This is a tough race due to being mainly on sand and Ronan finished a fabulous 27th place in a time of 1:49.
DUBLIN GRADED SERIES MEET, MORTON STADIUM, DUBLIN
Sarah Jane Beattie travelled to the Morton Stadium on Wednesday evening to compete in the 1,500m race.
Conditions were perfect and Sarah Jane was able to complete her final 1,500m season event with a well deserved PB. Sarah Jane chopped an amazing 4 seconds rewarding herself with a great finish time of 5:25.50.
GIANT’S RING TRAIL RACE, BELFAST
On Friday evening, Lee Maginnus joined 330 other runners to compete in the annual Giant’s Ring Trail Race just outside Belfast.
The conditions were very warm and humid which made the hills that little more challenging.
Lee finished in 17th overall in time of 41:05 and took the first M40 category placing.
ROSTREVOR PARKRUN
The Patterson clan were back in Kilbroney for this weeks’ Parkrun.
Ethan finished 5th in 20:06; Ryan finished 13th in 23:03; Pierce had a great run and came over the line in 26:11; Myles followed in 27:01; Fiona was over the line in 28:17; Erin completed in 31:07 and Martin followed with a time of 31:12.
A fantastic family effort and a great event.
