New Senior Men’s Manager
The club is delighted to confirm that Aidan Farrell has been appointed as the senior men’s manager for the 2019 season. With the seniors having won promotion to Intermediate Division 2A Aidan is looking forward to a successful season at the helm. The lads had their first training session on Sunday and will continue their pre-season programme on Wednesday and Friday night. In the meantime, everyone at the club would like to wish Aidan and the senior men all the very best for the upcoming season.
AGM
The club’s AGM will take place next Sunday 20th January at 3.00pm in the clubhouse. This is undoubtedly the most important meeting of the year and we are asking all current and past members, players (past and present), parents of our underage footballers and anyone else with a genuine interest in the club to come along. 2019 promises to be another busy year for the club and we are encouraging everyone to get on board to help make it a successful one.

U12 Boys
The U12 boys boxing training continues every Wednesday evening and they hope to begin their outdoor training next Saturday on the field from 3.00pm – 4.15pm, weather permitting.
Well Done
Well done to Connaire Mackin and Greg McCabe who were both part of the Armagh squad which defeated Donegal in the McKenna Cup semi-final on Sunday afternoon.
Armagh GAA Club Draw
The very successful Armagh GAA Club draw is running again in 2019. The draw takes place over 4 months - March, April, May and June - with 16 prizes on offer each month. The first prize each month is a Renault Clio, right down to a 16th prize of £200.
Tickets are priced at £100 each with £80 from every ticket going directly to the club after we reach our minimum target of sales. They can be bought by paying the £100 up front or 4 monthly instalments of £25 per month.
Tickets can be purchased from any of our committee members and the more tickets we sell, the more money the club raises. We are encouraging all our club members, families and friends to purchase a ticket either individually or maybe as a group of 4 friends or family members clubbing together at £25 each.
It is brilliant opportunity to raise much needed funds for the club whilst also being in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes.
Community Walkway
If you fancy burning off the turkey after Christmas, want to begin the New Year by getting fit or just want to blow away the cobwebs our community walkway is open to everyone and anyone who wish to avail of the facility.
Lotto
Last week’s winning lotto numbers were 2, 18, 19 & 24. There were no jackpot winners and 3 x match three winners. The lotto jackpot is slowly but surely creeping up again and now stands at £2,850.
Condolences
The club would like to offer its sympathy to the family of Patrick (Pat) Murphy who passed away recently. Pat was the grandfather of our underage footballer Abbie McVerry. May he rest in peace.
