Cul Camps, have become increasingly popular. It was not so long ago that we were only able to hold a few Camps each year within the County and therefore, I will be well pleased if we surpass last year when we were able to meet the demand for 39 Camps with 5 new camps which facilitated a total of 3,212 children up around 300 from previous year, which the children can enjoy the skills of Football, Camogie and Hurling.
Down GAA will once again be running nursery camps this summer. The nursery camps will be for children who were enrolled in P1 or P2 from Sept 2009 - June 2010. The Cul Camp will cost £35 per child. They get a knapsack with a full strip a medal. The children will be coach by Down stars in Hurling, Football, Camogie and Ladies Football.
