Last month the Judo Northern Ireland Pathway Squad training rolled into Warrenpoint.
The Pathway programme is the developmental programme to help the clubs youth develop into the high performance athletes of the future.
The program is spearheaded by Judo NI enhancement officer Jim Toland and Stephen McCluskey, both are very accomplished competitors and highly respected coaches.
Aoífe Reavey was awarded an official Pathway member patch for her Gi (Training Jacket). Aoífe has been a recent addition to the Pathway training. Aoífe regularly trains at Shinken Shobu Ryu club in Warrenpoint and our sister club Hashi Judo Kai in Mayobridge. This is the next step in Aoífe's Judo Journey.
