This is a bit of a mix of photographs from around 1983. I think most of them were taken in the Arts Centre. Definitely there are a couple from a Newry Art Society Exhibition and various School represented in another event. Also a couple of farming photos thrown in, taken around Mountnorris in all probability. Sure we aim to provide variety.
The main batch have posters in the background advertising Ceol Cinn Tra Folk Club based in the Arts Centre and the concert mentioned is the Sands Family, Dick Gaughan and Dessie Wilkinson so certainly a great night would have been had and all for the bargain admission price of £3.
Whether the photographs were taken on that night or not, in a court of law I couldn't confirm or deny!
