Carlingford is looking forward to another dazzling winter as Adventure Lights makes its return to Skypark for a second year running. The spectacular light trail will run for ten weeks from this Saturday, 25 October through to 3 January, promising families and visitors an evening out like no other.
After pulling in nearly 30,000 visitors last year and giving the local economy a welcome boost, the event is back with even more to offer. This time around, over half a million lights, 16 brand-new displays, and an expanded Kids' Adventure Zone will transform Skypark into one of Ireland's most unique winter wonderlands. Guests can look forward to fresh illuminated figures, interactive moments dotted throughout the trail, and free face painting for the little ones, meaning there's plenty for returning visitors to discover all over again.
The outdoor trail celebrates adventure and discovery with glowing installations at every turn. Visitors will wander through the Ireland's Ancient East Maze with its illuminated icons, bounce through giant adventure nets under twinkling lights at Skynet at Night, and navigate the shimmering tunnels and glowing sculptures of the Magical Light Trail. There's also a Hunt for Clues experience where families can follow riddles and hidden secrets to spark a bit of curiosity and wonder, plus a dedicated Kids' Zone packed with play and surprises. Street food and sweet treats are on hand to warm everyone up under the stars.
