All Fired up for JLS!

JLS are coming to Newry on the first of August. With the band announcing their retirement recently the concert as part of their farewell tour promises to be one of the largest ever to happen in Newry.

Local management company, Abbey Event Management yesterday launched the event billed as the World Police and Fire Games Concert. The concert  featuring JLS and friends will be held in Pairc Esler, Newry, on Thursday the 1st of August, 2013 at 7pm.

Speaking on the event Abbey Events Director, Paul McCann said “We are very pleased to announce a very exciting concert lineup including JLS, Keywest, Microlip and many others.”  He concluded by saying that the nominated charity of the World Police and Fire Games, the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, would be a beneficiary of this exciting event.

Mayor of Newry and Mourne District Council, Councillor John McArdle, stated that he is very pleased that Newry and Mourne District Council will be involved in the organisation of this event and congratulated Abbey Event Management and the World Police and Fire Games on agreeing to hold such a prestigious event in Newry.  The Mayor called on all music lovers to come to the excellent Pairc Event on the 1st August.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children stated that they are very pleased to be appointed as the World Police and Fire Games nominated Charity and wished Abbey Events every success with their concert on the 1st August.

The tickets priced £19.50 will be available on Ticket Master and local outlets. The date they go on sale will be announced in the near future.
