For the fifth consecutive year, the Brian Conlon Foundation, in conjunction with the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland, is funding initiatives within Newry City.
The fund will focus on advancing education, promoting amateur sport, creating opportunities for local young people and providing support to communities in disadvantaged areas.
The Brian Conlon Foundation is committed to perpetuating Brian's legacy by supporting causes that were of deep personal importance to him and about which he was truly passionate.
Grants will be awarded to community associations and groups in the Newry area, who are working to advance education, amateur sport, provide opportunities for young people, and assisting communities in the local area.
Grants will be awarded to projects based within Newry City, with a boundary map available on the application portal.
Applications are now open via the Community Foundation website and will close at 1pm on Thursday 12 February 2026. More information and application details are available at communityfoundationni.org
