Police officers remain at the scene of a house fire in the Thomas Street area of Bessbrook this evening, Sunday 18 January. No one sustained serious injuries from the incident.
Inspector Porter confirmed that whilst no-one sustained serious injury officers will be staying in the area to carry out enquiries whilst partner agencies work to make the property safe.
Inspector Porter said: "Thankfully, no-one sustained serious injury during the fire. I want to reassure the community that, while there is no ongoing risk to the public, our officers will be remaining in the area to carry out enquiries while our partners make the property safe."
