Attempted Murder Charge

A 24 year old man has appeared at Newry Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder and possessing an article with a blade or point in a public place after a 19 year old man was  stabbed in Edward Street in Newry early on Friday evening.

The victim is in a stable condition.
