Bank of Ireland’s Newry team recently awarded funding to Drumgath Ladies Group to help support them in reducing social isolation and loneliness.
The bank presented a cheque for £450 to Vera Rooney from Drumgath Ladies Group.
Drumgath Ladies Group provides a wide and varied diary of activities and events, enabling women to access opportunities for social, recreational, learning and development in a flexible and supportive environment.
The award is part of Bank of Ireland’s Begin Together funding, helping to build an inclusive and resilient society.
