Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership Chairperson, Mr Nicholas McCrickard said, “I am delighted the Local Action Group have worked so diligently towards the offer of grant assistance to a range of businesses throughout the large rural area. The funding has the potential to create over 50 full time equivalent jobs through the investment offered by the Local Action Group. The rural dwellers of Newry, Mourne and Down continue to demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit and potential and I am delighted to be issuing the Letters of Offer under the Rural Business Investment Scheme across the district.”
Mr McCrickard continued, “Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership is delighted to announce further Mandatory Pre-Application Workshops for those who are keen to access funding from Call Two of the Rural Business Investment Scheme. With the availability of up to £75,000 of grant assistance (50% grant rate), this provides fantastic opportunities for rural businesses in Newry, Mourne and Down.”
