Write a commentThe village of Carlingford was turned into a film set this week with film crew shooting footage for a film production of romantic drama, There You'll Find Me, from the book of the same name by Jenny B Jones.
The village is a perfect venue for the production with it's historic buildings and narrow streets, not to mention the stunning scenery and harbour looking over St John's Castle.
There's just one more day of production left in the village tomorrow, Saturday 1 June before they move onwards. Filming continued all week and included a spectacular festival scene at the harbour.
Today's venue for the shoot was Taaffes Bar on Newry Street and music was lilting from the historic pub throughout the day as take followed take.
The movie, a story with heart. And romance. And music. is due to be released in Spring 2020 and is sure to put Carlingford on the map around the world yet again.
