As a result of the death of Pope Francis earlier this week, the canonisation of Blessed Carlo Acutis that was due to take place today has been postponed.
The Celebration of Carlo Acutis scheduled for Newry Cathedral this evening will now also be rescheduled to a later date.
The 5.30pm Mass in the Cathedral today will be offered instead for Pope Francis with the participation of young people in the liturgy.
The celebration Mass will be rescheduled to align with the new canonisation date.
