The Filipino Community in Newry hosted a Christmas party at Carrickruppen Football Club on Saturday night, 6 December, raising funds for a charity supporting women and children in the Philippines.

The event, organised in coordination with Newry and Mourne District Council, was well attended by Filipinos and guests from in and around Newry.
The evening featured traditional dishes, games and performances and there was a wonderful festive atmosphere for all in attendance.
A Christmas raffle was held with all proceeds going to the TEN Foundation, which supports women and children in the Philippines.
The fantastic fun filled night was a great opportunity to bring the local Filipino community together for the festive season.
