Detectives are investigating after a shop was robbed at knifepoint in Stream Street in Newry on Saturday 18 January.
At around 5.20pm a man entered the Stream Street store and threatened a member of staff with a knife. The staff member was forced to open the till and the robber removed a sum of cash and made off on foot.
The robber is described as a white male, approximately 6ft tall with a heavy build and was wearing a black coat, a red coloured hoody with the hood up, dark coloured trousers and black trainers.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or any dash-cam, mobile or CCTV footage, or who may have witnessed a male matching this description in the area during this time are asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1099 18/01/25.

Newry City Councillor Valerie Harte said the robbery has disgusted the local community.
Cllr Harte said: “I share the disgust of our community at this act of thuggery carried out at the Vivo Shop. A young member of staff was forced by knife point to open the Till and the individual brandishing the knife, stole money from it”.
The local Councillor added: “This was a frightening experience for the young person involved. This shop which serves the community well has been targeted before, and those thieves carrying out these anti-community crimes care nothing about the staff or the people who avail of the services.”
