Lislea Men's Shed hosted a popular Coffee Morning and Plant and Picture Sale last Sunday 7 June. The Shed aims to take men out of isolation to bond with other like minded men to improve health and well being through social interaction.
Lending his support to the community initiative in his own area, MLA Justin McNulty was one of the visitors during the day.
McNulty spoke of the groups 'can do attitude: "I was delighted to attend the welcoming and joyous Coffee Morning in my own community with people who are positively striving to make things better. Lislea Men's Shed have a proactive 'can do' attitude and act as an important social outlet for so many people. I wish them well for their continued great work!"
