Confederation holds AGM

The Confederation of Community Groups held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 28th of October in Ballybot House.

The AGM gave members and other interested parties an opportunity to reflect on the previous year’s activities and look at the year ahead.

David Cunningham, Chairman, praised the group for a successful year even though they were operating in challenging circumstances. He praised the support of their staff and thanked all who gave freely of their time to help build a strong sense of community in their own areas.

Five Board members had reached their expiration terms and all five individuals put there names forward again for membership of the Board and were duly re-elected.

There were no additional nominations for membership of the Board this year.
