Did you know the Baby Boomer generation is generally described as being independent and self assured? Three councils – Newry, Mourne & Down District Council, Ards & North Down Borough Council and Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council have joined forces, with support from the Public Health Agency to find out how public services can help the over 50s to live well and longer.
Each council aims to be ‘Age Friendly’ and ‘Your Age, Your Community, Your Opinion’ will help them better understand the positives and the challenges of growing older. If you are age 50 or above they are asking you to share your experiences and their concerns to help identify where public services can be improved to better meet your needs.
‘Your Age, Your Community, Your Opinion’ is your opportunity to help improve services in your area.
