Newry, Mourne and Down District Council have opened Call 1 today for financial assistance for community groups and organisations in the district. This year there are ten categories and applicants have until 4pm Friday 15 February 2019 to submit their applications.
In 2018 341 successful applicants received £407,170.00 between them with 107 of the applications coming from Newry, 80 from Crotlieve, 99 Downpatrick, 100 Mourne, 82 Slieve Croob, 74 Slieve Gullion and 58 Rowallane.

Completed applications must be returned to either the reception in O’Hagan House, Monaghan Row, Newry or Downshire Civic Centre, Downpatrick and late applications won't be considered.
