The Haematology ward at Craigavon Hospital has been closed to admissions and visitors following a second cluster of Covid-19 in the Hospital.
One member of staff has tested positive and 3 close staff contacts are self-isolating as a precaution. 12 patients on the Haematology ward have also been tested, 5 of these patients tested positive and 1 further haematology in-patient identified.
Trust staff are working closely with the Public Health Agency to manage the situation and the safety of both patients and staff remains a priority.

A statement from the Trust added "Covid-19 is rising again in our community. We urgently appeal to everyone to wash their hands, cover their face maintain social distancing."
