Write a commentNext Friday night the 8th of August from 6pm to 9pm Deli Lites Food Hall in the Quays Shopping Centre will be filled with the aromatic scent of Thai and Indian curry, as they play host to a special fund raising event in aid of four local charities.
The initiative - part of Deli Lites commitment to raise £20k for their nominated charities to mark their 20th anniversary - will see the company donate all sales from the event directly to Macmillian; Children’s Cancer Care, Diabetes Association and Special Olympics. The event theme was voted on by customers and facebook fans.
Siobhan from Deli Lites says: “It’s the first time we’ve hosted an event like this and the management and staff are very excited and committed to making it a wonderful success. We hope as many as possible will join us and enjoy a delicious meal in aid of 4 local charities.”
Customers will be invited to dine for 2 courses with a complimentary Tiger beer or wine for £15pp. There will be entertainment and music on the night and Big O has promised to pop in for a chat to support the Special Olympics. Takes place on Friday 8th August 6-9 pm (last orders 8.30pm).
