Write a commentEngineering works are being carried out on a section of railway line between Dublin and Drogheda over Easter weekend (31st March to 2nd April) and for the early May Bank Holiday weekend (5th and 6th May).
Enterprise trains will run between Belfast and Drogheda, with bus substitutions in effect between Drogheda and Dublin Connolly.
The buses will meet Enterprise passengers at Drogheda Station and take them to Dublin Connolly.
On journeys leaving Dublin, buses will leave from outside Dublin Connolly at scheduled Enterprise departure times. These will travel to Drogheda where passengers can connect with Enterprise trains.
A revised timetable will operate during the works and is available on the Translink website www.translink.co.uk
The timetable adjustment will also affect the Portadown to Bangor line. The 10.35pm Portadown to Bangor train on Saturday 31st March and Saturday 5th May will leave Portadown at 10.45pm and operate ten minutes later at each stop on its journey.
The 11.22pm Great Victoria Street to Bangor train will also operate 10 minutes later on these dates.
The first Enterprise from Dublin Connolly to Belfast on Monday 2nd April and Monday 7th May (7.35am) will also operate with a bus substitution.
Separate works will also take place on the Belfast to Dublin line between Portadown and Lisburn on the weekends of 7th/8th and 14th/15th April.
Bus substitutions will be in place for Enterprise passengers, operating from Belfast Central and Lisburn to Portadown; and for NI Railways customers between Portadown and Lisburn. Limited bus substitutions will also operate from Newry to Belfast.
