Write a commentNewry's often mentioned Big Screen is set to show two of the upcoming Euro 2016 games later this month as part of family fun days at the Event Space location.
The events on the 18th and 21st of June will celebrate the success of the Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland Football teams qualifying for the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament in France and t's being organised by Newry City Centre Management in partnership with Newry, Mourne & Down District Council.
Entertainment includes inflatable penalty shootout, face painting, balloon modelling and much more.
Both events are free family fun events and everyone is welcome. No alcohol will be permitted as the area is an Alcohol Free Zone.
Newry elected Chairperson Gillian Fitzpatrick stated that she is delighted that fans who were unable to go to France to watch their teams play will have the opportunity to see them on the Big Screen at the Events Space in Hill Street. This will be an opportunity to come out and enjoy a family fun afternoon and cheer on both teams.
