Nurses from Evora Hospice have put their own spin on some iconic 90s pop hits as part of a fundraising campaign for palliative care in the local community.
The team at Evora Hospice, formerly Southern Area Hospice Services, have channelled their inner Spice Girls by reworking a medley of the band's most popular tracks, including 'Spice Up Your Life' and 'Wannabe', to raise awareness and funds for the hospice's annual car giveaway. The competition is kindly supported by Shelbourne Motors and Buttercrane Shopping Centre.
For just £2, entrants have the chance to win a new Renault Clio Evolution, with every ticket purchased helping to provide specialist care to those living with a palliative illness and bereavement support for families throughout the Armagh, Down and Tyrone areas.
The 'Hospice Girls' performance can be viewed on Evora Hospice's Facebook page at www.facebook.com where supporters are encouraged to share, donate and join in the fun for a great cause.
Tickets can be purchased online, by phone on 028 302 67711 or from participating venues. The draw will take place on Saturday 8 November at Buttercrane Shopping Centre in Newry.
The creative fundraising effort shows how the hospice continues to find innovative ways to engage the community and raise vital funds for its services. For more information and to purchase a ticket, visit www.evorahospice.org
