The surprise announcement was made on the restaurant and bars Facebook page this afternoon. The establishment is very popular throughout Newry and many miles beyond. Their incredible decorations at Halloween attracted thousands of visitors every year.
In a statement put up by the Fitzpatrick family on their Facebook page they thanked their staff for their loyalty.
The statement apologised to their loyal customers. "we apologise to all our loyal customers over the years and thank you all very much who have supported us over the past 25 years."
