A Go Fund Me Page that was set up just two days ago to help the children of Patrick and Ciera Grimley who died as a result of a horrific collision on the Armagh Road just 5 miles outside Newry has already raised over £200,000. The couple are survived by their son and two daughters.
The incident involving four vehicles happened in the early hours of 4 November at Crankey, claimed the lives of Patrick Grimley that day, Ciara McElvanna, 8 November and Patrick's wife Ciera Grimley, 11 November.
Set up by Lorraine and Liam Grimley the page explains "anyone reading this probably know of the tragedy that has fell on the Grimley children recently. A family outing celebrating Patrick’s 40th birthday ended in tragedy and three children have been left without their parents and another family without their beautiful mother. This tragedy has plunged us all in grief and hopeless as to how to help them. This is the only practical thing we can do. Any money raised will be used for the children to assist them in their practical day to day needs If you can help please do so and if you can’t please keep these children in your thoughts and prayers"
You can contribute to the page at www.gofundme.com or as above just keep the family in your prayers.
