Gear up for Glitz and Glam at the Hospice Gala Ball

Tickets are now on sale for the Southern Area Hospice Services Annual Hospice Gala Ball taking place on Friday the 6th of March in the Canal Court Hotel.

This year’s theme is Glitz and Glam, so why not shine up those diamonds and join us for this glamorous event? 

The night will commence with a champagne reception, followed by a sumptuous five course meal, live auction and raffle.  There are fantastic auction items and raffle prizes in store for lucky winners, including a signed, framed British and Irish Lions Rugby Jersey from the 2013 Australian Tour (kindly donated by David Buchanan).  Patrons will then dance the night away to live music provided by hip local band, ‘The Rockits’.

Not only will this night be the perfect opportunity for people to get dressed up in Glitz and Glam for a great night out… patrons will also be helping to raise vital funds for their local Hospice.  This year the Southern Area Hospice are celebrating 25 years of local Hospice Care.  Together, and with your support we can to continue to help those who need it most. 

“We are so grateful to all of those who make the evening possible – from our amazing Gala Ball committee to our sponsors and all of the attendees,” said Geraldine Loughran, Chairperson of the Hospice Dance Committee, “It will be a very special evening and it is always wonderful to see the fantastic show of support from our local community!”

Tickets are priced at £50 and are available from SAHS reception or members of the Hospice Dance Committee, with all proceeds from the event going to the Southern Area Hospice.  If you cannot attend the event you can still have the chance to enter our patron’s raffle, our volunteers will be selling raffle tickets priced at £1 each in The Quays Shopping Centre, Buttercrane Shopping Centre, Dunnes Monaghan Street and Eurospar Warrenpoint between Thursday 26th and Saturday 28th February.
