Get Involved in the St Patrick's Day Festivities

The 2015 St Patrick's Day festival in Newry has the theme of ‘Celebrating Friendships in the Community’ and the organisers are trying to get as many people involved this year as possible.

Newry & Mourne District Council are calling on all sections of the community across  the greater Newry & Mourne area to get involved in this year’s parade. 

Some ideas of how you can get involved include Entering a float, Walking in the parade representing your organisation, Walking in fancy dress, Arranging your own entertainment as part of the festival, Dressing your shop window and ensuring staff wear appropriate attire on the day.

 Prizes will be awarded for best participants on the day.
