Get stocked up on the Washing Powder - Newry Colour Run is on it's way!

Newry could well be the most colourful city in Ireland this April (or at least it's residents will be!) when the very first Colour Run takes place at Greenbank on Sunday the 10th of April in aid of Children in Crossfire.

Popularly known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet and a celebration of health, happiness and colour, the run is making its long awaited debut in Newry.

This exciting event is in aid for ‘Children in Crossfire’ and hopes to bring the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet." 

This run is ‘Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life!’ The Newry Colour Run is a five-kilometre, un-timed race in which hundreds of “Colour Runners” are doused from head to toe in different Colours, at different stations along the way.

 The fun continues after the Colour Runners complete the race with an unforgettable ‘Finish Festival’. This larger than life party is equipped with music, dancing and massive Colour throws, which create millions of vivid colour combinations… billed as the best post-5k party on the planet! Participants are required to wear a white shirt…and have "the time of their lives." 

The event starts at 10am and will feature all ages and abilities. We are welcoming all youth clubs, schools, gyms, clubs, societies, friends and families to take part and have an unforgettable day!

Tickets cost £15 per adult and £7.50 per child (15 years and under). No age restriction - prams welcome.
