A very Happy Christmas to one and all, whatever your connection to Newry is.
Warm Greetings to all, whether you live in our wonderful city all your life, are a new or relatively new resident, or live in some far flung destination around the world and are proud of your connections to here. At this time of the year especially the importance of family and friendships old and new is never greater.
Many young people from Newry and surrounds are at this present time having the time of their lives in places as far away as Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Christchurch. We miss you all but we are glad you are happy and look forward to hearing all your stories. We hope you are having a fantastic day.

Sadly It also can be a time when many people locally struggle to cope with many difficulties, from homelessness, to addiction, to conflict, resulting in many fractured families and friendships. There are also many with major health concerns. If you can be the person 'there' for someone at a difficult time in their life, sometimes that is all that is needed. We are continually in awe of the many Newry individuals and organisations that on a 24/7 basis are helping so many in their time of need both at home and around the world. Thank you.
