A Newry youth club organised a Christmas Market and a bucket collection in aid of the Southern Area Hospice back in early December at the Methodist Church Hall in Newry and members of the club recently presented a cheque to the Hospice.
Shamrock Youth Club based at Altnaveigh House presented a cheque for £300 to Bernie Murphy, the Fundraising Officer with Southern Area Hospice.
All funds raised are gratefully appreciated as the Hospice needs almost £10,000 per day to enable them to continue to provide care and support to their patients and families.
