Newry.ie would like to thank you our readers for all your support throughout 2023. We really appreciate you placing your trust in us and look forward to the challenges and new intitiatives that a new year can bring. In 2023 our social enterprise continued to expand with our Facebook followers reaching an incredibile 31,735 to date. In one particular week this year our posts were seen by an incredible 1.2 milliion people.
We believe in Newry and we want to continue to play our part in making our city the best it can be.
We would also like to thank our advertisers as well as those of you who donated to Newry.ie because you felt we were worth supporting. Obviously if we can't make a living our business would not last. Thank You.
A thank you to the organisations we are affiliated to, which have played no small part in our development - The Independent Community News Network (ICNN), Ping News, Impress and the Google News initiative.
Lastly we would like to thank our many contributors and Journalists, and those of you who keep us informed of all that is happening in our brilliant city. Especially we would like to thank Journalist Paul Welsh with his in-depth coverage of Council and other public organisations. An essential part of media is to hold those in power to account and Paul with his many years of experience is an invaluable addition.
