Police are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle road traffic collision on the Newry Road in Hilltown which left two people with serious injuries on Sunday evening.
The collision occurred at around 9.45pm on Sunday, 24 May, with officers attending alongside colleagues from the emergency services. The driver and a passenger were both taken to hospital, where their injuries are described as serious but not believed to be life threatening.
The Newry Road was closed for a period following the collision but has since re-opened.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, and who may have mobile phone footage, dash cam footage, or any other information that could assist the investigation, to come forward. The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1763 of 24/05/26.
