The Southern Area Hospice is gearing up for its annual Santa Dash on Hill Street in Newry. Sponsored by Norbrook Laboratories the event takes place on Thursday, 21 November, at 6:00 PM on the same evening as the Newry Christmas lights switch-on.
“As part of our WeCare@Christmas programme, we are delighted to partner with Southern Area Hospice once again this year. This is a wonderful event for everyone to get involved in and raise much-needed funds for the Hospice,” said Denise Collins, Human Resources Director at Norbrook Laboratories.
The Santa Dash has become a much-loved tradition in the town over recent years. It is the perfect opportunity for local businesses to get involved in the holiday spirit while supporting the vital work of their local hospice.
Sean Boyle, Partnership Development Officer at Southern Area Hospice, commented, “We are delighted to be able to organise our Hospice Santa Dash again this year, and we are encouraging all local businesses to get involved. We are hoping this year’s dash will be bigger and better than ever before as we mark our 35th anniversary of service in the community.”
This year, Southern Area Hospice must raise £3.6 million to continue providing vital palliative and end- of- life care to local patients and their families.
Registration costs £50 per Santa, which includes a Santa suit and a personalised sash. To register, contact Sean at 07484902074 or visit NewrySantaDash2024
