The Omeath Summer Splash Festival kicked off last evening with a whole range of fun events for all the family. On stage keeping the crowds entertained was the wonderful Rambliin String Band and it was the perfect evening to sit and watch the world go by, with the added bonus of the annual 15th Fireworks Display in Warrenpoint as part of the Warrenpoint Loughside Festival.
The festival runs all the way through to 19 August and you can check out what is on at omeath-summer-splash
If you missed the Ramblin String Band last night they will be on the go again Sunday week, 27 August at Street Feast in Newry Market as part of Iúr Cinn Fleadh.
