Write a commentWell that's the Halloween concert over for another year and it certainly looked like it was a resounding success. With nearly 20,000 people and lots of screaming kids the atmosphere was just mad.
No matter about the other brilliant acts that took to the stage everyone was there for Jedward though, and when they took to the stage around 8.30 it was frantic frantic frantic for almost the next hour! I don't think I have ever been so exhausted and I was just taking photos!
Whatever keeps them going I could do with some of it but full credit to John and Edward for giving it their all and thanks for coming up to wee Newry.
Just before Jedward The Social Ions did a brilliant moving tribute to member of the band Michael O'Hare who died recently.
The night ended with a spectacular fireworks display. Well done to all the funders and organizers and the people on the ground helping to make it such a success. Lets keep the momentum going!
