Southern Area Hospice are calling on local adventurous types to take to the skies in support of the charity.
The Hospice 2025 charity skydive is coming up in May and it's a once in a lifetime experience. By participating in the skydive, individuals get the chance to experience the ultimate thrill of jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet while also raising funds for a local charity. The funds raised from this event will directly support Southern Area Hospice. It will help the hospice to continue providing essential specialist palliative care and support for individuals and their families facing life-limiting conditions.
James McCaffrey, SAH Fundraising Officer, said, “We are thrilled to announce the return of our charity skydive and invite everyone to be part of this exciting fundraising event. Our hospice supports over 600 people each year and support through events like this is so important as it helps us raise much-needed funds for hospice care.”
The skydive is scheduled to take place in Garvagh, near Coleraine, on Saturday, 31 May 2025.
