Plans are in progress for a new revised Enterprise train service from 25 August culminating in a new hourly Monday to Saturday Dublin Belfast service from 7 October. The only major drawback seems to be that the last service remains 20:50 from Dublin and 21:02 from Belfast.
The public are being asked to submit feedback in advance of the new timetables being finalised.
A revised timetable will commence from Sunday 25th August 2024 with services now operating to/from the new Belfast Grand Central Station. Customers who still wish to travel to/from Belfast Lanyon Place will need to use local Translink services between Grand Central and Lanyon Place Stations.
Services will operate as follows from 25 August:
Mondays to Saturdays: An approximately two hourly service in both directions:
Services from Dublin Connolly will depart at: 06:50 hrs, 08:50 hrs, 10:50 hrs, 12:50 hrs, 14:50 hrs, 16:50 hrs, 18:50 hrs & 20:50 hrs.
Services from Belfast Grand Central will depart at: 06:02 hrs, 08:00 hrs, 10:02 hrs, 12:02 hrs, 14:02 hrs, 15:56 hrs, 17:56 hrs & 20:02 hrs.
Sundays: A clockface two hourly service in both directions, with an additional lunchtime service from Dublin and evening service from Belfast:
New Hourly Service
A new Hourly service will then commence between Dublin and Belfast on Mondays to Saturdays including pre-09:00 arrivals into both cities, commencing on Monday 7 October 2024 as follows:
Services from Dublin Connolly will depart hourly at xx:50 hrs, from 05:50 hrs to 18:50 hrs & then a last service at 20:50 hrs.
Services from Belfast Grand Central will depart approximately hourly at 06:02 hrs, 07:02 hrs, 08:00 hrs, 09:00 hrs, 10:02 hrs, 11:02 hrs, 12:02 hrs, 13:02 hrs, 14:02 hrs, 15:56 hrs, 16:56 hrs, 17:56 hrs, 19:02 hrs & then a last service at 21:02 hrs.
