X Factor finalist Lloyd Daniels and Britain’s Got Talent runners-up dance act Signature really got the temperatures rising at the St Patrick's Eve Concert in Newry City Hall.
Cllr Charlie Casey, Joint Chairman, Peace III Southern Partnership and Cllr Mick Murphy, Mayor, Newry and Mourne District Council presented the performers with sprigs of Shamrock to mark St Patrick's Day.
Also on stage were local band Microlip as well as Ant and Dick.
Music Against Racism was organised by the PEACE III Southern Partnership’s Challenge of Change Programme and supported by the European Union’s PEACE III Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
Lloyd Daniels was the 17-year-old Welsh singer who got Cheryl Cole as his mentor in last year’s X Factor final and he was supported by Signature, a Michael Jackson/Bangla dance fusion dance act that wowed Simon Cowell in the 2008 Britain’s Got Talent final.
Microlip,from Portadown rocked the City Hall to it's very foundations. Compere for the night was Five FM’s Kevin McAllister.
