Write a commentA documentary film about the attack on The Heights bar in Loughinisland in 1994 opens tonight at Newry Omniplex.
UVF gunmen walked into the bar and opened fire while customers were watching Republic of Ireland and Italy in a World Cup game 0n 18 June 1994. Six men were killed in the attack and nobody has ever been convicted.
“No Stone Unturned” the hard hitting film directed and written by Alex Gibney explores the contradictions of the event in the bar, how, much seems to have been known about the events of the night and those allegedly involved and yet no one has been Brought to justice.
Newry Omniplex will show the film nightly at 6.30pm and 8.50pm until Thursday 16 November.
