Write a commentOne of the biggest technical conferences ever in the electrical industry is being screened at Newry Omniplex 4 July.
The 18th Edition seminar will be beamed live via satellite to 40 cinemas simultaneously.
Electricians in Newry and surrounds are being encouraged to take part with more than 2000 electricians from around the country already signed up to attend.
Regulatory bodies NICEIC & ELECSA will be transmitting the live talk on the 18th Edition, one of the biggest technical conferences ever in the electrical industry.
The conference will look at the new wiring regulations, which come into effect in the UK from July 1.
“This is a complete first for the electrical industry and we are keen that as many locations as possible around the UK get involved,” commented NICEIC and ELECSA’s Marketing Director Mark Smith.
“It is amazing to think so many electricians will be dotted around the UK at one moment in time to learn about the upcoming changes.
“It promises to be a ground breaking moment. We would encourage anyone who has not signed up yet to do so and play their part in this one off event.”
The 18th Edition seminar will be broadcast from the Faraday Theatre, at The Royal Institution, London. Hosted by industry experts Darren Staniforth and Alan Wells the talk will focus on the changes included in the new regulations and what it will mean for electricians in their day-to-day work.
The live seminar and cinema event will take place from 9am on Wednesday, 4th July.
