Write a commentButtercrane Shopping Centre and the Michaela Foundation are hosting a children’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for on Saturday 19th April, sponsored by Marks & Spencer, Newry.
The event (11 and 12.30pm) will invite up to 40 children (aged 5+) to join Alice, The White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter for a themed tea party with sandwiches, special cupcakes and Easter eggs and they’ll also enjoy up to an hour of craft activities and games.
It’s rumoured that Buttercrane Mascot Roary the Tiger will also ‘come to tea’ to join in the fun and there will be free face painting on the mall running from 12-4pm.
There is also an afternoon Easter Egg Hunt with Alice and friends who will guide you around the centre in search of lost bunnies and adventure. Each child will receive a special Easter Egg gift at the end of the interactive hunt.
Both events are free, with a voluntary donation requested for Michaela Foundation, Buttercrane’s nominated charity for 2014.
