A 67 year old man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a mans body at a property near Crossmaglen on Saturday, 15 June.
Seventy four year old Michael McConville was murdered in the Annaghmare Road area of Crossmaglen and Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team following two detention extensions have charged the 67-year-old man with murder.
The man is expected to appear before Banbridge Magistrates Court sitting in Newry tomorrow, Thursday 20 June and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
