For far too long, the establishment parties have put sham fights ahead of people’s needs. We have lurched from crisis to crisis, all caused by stunts designed to stoke fears and enflame divisions. The latest stunt has left us with no Executive at a time when working families are struggling to pay their bills and put food on the table.
Enough is enough. You now have the chance to call time on 15 years of failure.
Leadership is needed to get a grip on the challenges facing working families. The SDLP is fighting for common sense and fairness.
- The SDLP’s plan for 30-hours of free childcare per week will lift a huge financial burden from the shoulders of working families and allow thousands of parents to return to work and bring home an additional income.
- The SDLP’s plan to cap and tax the profits of energy companies and provide and immediate £200 emergency payment to every household will provide breathing space for people and families across the North.
- The SDLP is leading the fight to expand Daisy Hill and safeguard our hospital for future generations.
The DUP and Sinn Féin have had 15 years in charge. It’s time for change. I am asking you to come back to the centre ground and back the party that has always tried to work the common ground for the greater good; the party who will work relentlessly to deliver solutions to the challenges families are facing right now; the party who will continue to put people first.
This Thursday, I am asking you to vote SDLP. Vote McNulty 1.
