Meigh Community Association hosted a Health and Wellbeing Drop-in Event at Meigh Community Centre last week.
The event, supported by Newry District Electoral Area (DEA) provided residents with the opportunity to meet directly with a wide range of public, voluntary and community organisations offering advice, information and support across health, wellbeing, safety and community development.
Representatives from the Multi-Disciplinary Team, PSNI, PCSP, NIHE, NMDDC Health Improvement Team, CRJ Newry/Armagh, Education Authority, SHSCT Promoting Wellbeing, Volunteer Now, Advice NMD, Southern Age Network, NMDDC Age Friendly, Bolster and the Confederation of Community Groups attended the event.

Residents benefited from one-to-one discussions with service providers, accessing guidance and information relevant to their individual needs. The event promoted awareness of local services, encouraged engagement with statutory and community support networks, whilst strengthening connections within the community.
