Write a commentFollowing the success of his first instrumental album, local guitarist and composer Mickey Murphy releases his second solo CD entitled ‘Heartstrings’ this week with a special launch show in the auditorium of the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre last night.
The album is a smooth blend of original works and Mickey’s unique arrangements of jazz, pop and Irish traditional standards and was produced by the legendary Tom Newman, best known for his work on Tubular Bells.
His first solo CD Turais (Irish for Journeys) was extremely well received and charted his travels both in music and in life.
