Newry and Mourne Museum have launched their new Maritime Education Resource Pack. This pack will enable local teachers to study the rich maritime heritage of the area, from the past to the present.
Endorsing the Maritime Education Resource Booklet, Mayor of Newry & Mourne District Council, Cllr Mick Murphy stated that, ‘ Much work has gone into the production of this publication which was a credit to Museum Staff, past and present’.
He added that, ‘This Booklet will prove to be a very useful tool for schools throughout the district helping to inform and generate interest in our areas rich and understated waterways past’.
